So my weekend recap is slightly delayed due to a thunderstorm taking out our wireless internet last night.  It was back up this morning, but I didn't have enough time to post.  It's on my to-do list for later... along with a yoga class, dinner, and a trip to Target and Publix...

I have an addiction to Pinterest y'all.  The kind of addiction where you could spend hours wasting precious time doing nothing but looking at pretty pictures of food and clothes and interior decor... oh man.  But what's really cool is that my infatuation with type and prints leads me to find AWESOME prints like this one -- and even cooler, so often I find prints of bible verses that remind me of exactly what I need to be doing.

America the Beautiful

Last night, instead of packing for this glorious 3-day weekend celebrating my second-favorite holiday (first is Christmas), I painted my nails red.  A girl's gotta have priorities.  And, newsflash, I can pack in five minutes -- nails I cannot do quickly.

I love, love, love Essie Nail polish.  In fact, I believe I have a "strange addiction" to buying nail polish and painting my nails.  I used Red Nouveau -- a fabulous red with an orangey undertone.

Though my nails and toes are painted perfectly, I'm still fiendin' for these Lilly Pulitzer shorts. Maybe I'll buy them on sale for next year?  $58 full price shorts = not in this working girl's budget.
